Last night I went to a rave. It was wow. Driving into one of the sketchiest areas of Dallas was not fun but once you got through the indescript doors of the warehouse it was a colorful maze of awesome music and weird and cool people. From house to DnB, this place rocked its techno. It has the feel of an underground old school warehouse rave, and everyone seems connected by the fact their offbeat enough to go there. Be open minded if you go and don’t be surprised if you see a lot of high, emo, and gay people. But its not about stereotypes, It’s about the music, dancing and having an awesome time. I’ll be going again soon. I’ll keep you posted and maybe I will see some of you there!

New Ipod Touch, iTunes and iPod Nano

First Response to the Nano: “whaaat?”
I would bet that I am not the only one surprised by the new Nano. It’s as if they chopped off the bottom and made it touchscreen. Which is basically what they did. About the size of the older shuffles the nano seems very cool but possibly too small for many to handle. I would suggest trying one out before purchasing it. As for the iPod Touch, it’s what we all expected. A front facing camera, retina display, all that is missing in design from the iPhone 4 is the square back. The “new” shuffle is basically back to it’s old look. iTunes 10. The logo is (excuse my french) shit. They took an awesome logo and killed it. However, iTunes Ping where you can share you purchases is pretty awesome. Overall mixed feelings about todays annoncements.

BEST MOVIE EVER. SEE IT NOW.

Ok so maybe not completely true, but I will say it was one of the most enjoyable films I’ve seen so far this year (for the viewing aspect). If you are at all into video game pop culture you will find this movie hilarious and even if not so there are still many quirky parts everyone finds funny. I felt the movie had a lot of unforced effortless comedy and Michael Cera played his role extraordinarily well. I highly recommend it.

Music Production Club

I’ve started a music production club at my school with a friend of mine. We focus on the technical aspects of making music, from recording to mastering to publication. Well yes, it’s been quite a while since I last posted. Sorry for the long shortage of news, I could say I was really busy but that would be a half-way lie. (playing to much COD haha). However, I’m back and hopefully much better than ever. Look forward to much more in depth coverage of tech stuff in the world and some stuff hopefully stuff no one else has!

The Apple iPad

The highly anticipated Apple IPad begins pre-ordering all models on Friday 12th! The wifi model ships on April the 3rd. Apples newest technology has been dubbed by many as ‘just a big iPod touch’ but in fact it is so much more. The revolutionary device gives 10″ of touch screen capability. The iPad will become what we want it to be, not what Apple planned it to be. Personally I would like to get my hands on one before I buy it just to make sure typing on screen isn’t to hard. It will be great for organization and taking notes/reading books.
